Financial Transactions
Overview
The Ikoku Foundations are committed to developing, maintaining and providing a clear, dependable and secure environment and experience for any and all financial transactions, including but not limited to those entailing disbursement, donations, fees, funding, lending, marketing, payments and sales.
Therefore, persons engaged in activity within, for, on behalf of, in reference to, and otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Foundations are expected to uphold the following:
Transactions Be Authorized
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every person engaged in or seeking to engage in any and all financial transactions or equivalent activities be explicitly authorized to engage in such financial transaction or equivalent activity by express written instrument signed and sealed of Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the sole Founder and President.
Transactions Be Clear and Consented
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every financial transaction or equivalent activity be reasonably transparent, voluntary and engaged in via informed consent.
Transactions Be Documented and Signed
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every financial transaction or equivalent activity have a written contract or equivalent instrument signed by the parties involved, that such written instrument clearly convey the conditions and terms of the financial transaction or equivalent activity in a language understood by each signatory, and that the described financial transaction or equivalent activity commence only after said written instrument is signed and consented to by each said signatory.
Transactions Be Respectful
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every financial transaction or equivalent activity is respectful of the rights of all signatories to its written contract or equivalent instrument.
Transactions Be Protective and Secure
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every financial transaction or equivalent activity is protective and secure with respect to the rights of all signatories to its written contract or equivalent instrument, and fulfills this obligation in part by following the Policy on Data and Information.
Transactions Adhere to Usage Guidelines
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every financial transaction or equivalent activity that uses a name or mark of The Ikoku Foundations do so only after obtaining specific authorization by express written instrument signed and sealed of Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the sole Founder and President.
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that each and every financial transaction or equivalent activity thusly authorized to use a name or mark of The Ikoku Foundations strictly adhere to the terms of the authorization and to the Policy on Intellectual Property.
Review and Approval of All Transactions
— that The Ikoku Foundations require and ensure that any and all such financial transactions or equivalent activities and their arrangements and usages be reviewed and approved by express written instrument signed and sealed of Alvan Azinna Chibuzo Ikoku, the sole Founder and President.
Accordance with Ethics
— that The Ikoku Foundations ensure following any and all of the above principles further remains in accordance with the Codes and Policies and especially the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics.
Accordance with Mission
— that The Ikoku Foundations ensure following any and all of the above principles further remains in accordance with the founding mission and purposes of The Ikoku Foundations, without incompatibility, as described and delineated in the Codes and Policies and the Founder’s Declaration of Trust.

Provision
As stated earlier, The Ikoku Foundations User Agreement and Code of Conduct consist of several Codes and Policies that collectively govern all of your activity with, within, for, in reference to and otherwise pertaining to The Ikoku Foundations. By continuing, you indicate that you understand that these Codes and Policies include — but are not limited to — the Founding and Mission Statement, the Founding and Governing Code of Ethics, the Policy on Corporate Integrity, the Policy on Independence and Freedoms, the Policy on Privacy and Confidentiality, the Terms and Conditions of Use and Service, and the Acceptable Uses Policy along with all Associated Codes and Policies. Your Knowledge and Agreement
The Ikoku Foundations strongly recommend you develop and maintain your knowledge of all the Codes and Policies, and so ask that you read, understand, and regularly visit this section and other communications regarding the Policy on Financial Transactions, as well as the Codes and Policies. The Ikoku Foundations take your continued visiting and use of the Products and Services, as active indication of your knowledge, understanding, and legally binding acceptance of and agreement to this Policy as well as the Codes and Policies.
Your Duty to Corporate Integrity
And you further legally accept and agree that no application, interpretation, judgment, or other compliance, proceeding, or reading from, of, with, or otherwise relating to the Founding Ethics, the Codes and Policies, or any equivalent code, policy, or other document or material shall, in any way, entail any abrogation, diminishment, interference, or violation pertaining to any of the terms, conditions, principles, requirements, rights — including the attendant properties and protections — of corporate and organizational integrity.

A founding mission and ongoing emphases of support for good works that help the public understand Africa’s essential place in a global future, one that is to be more knowledgeable, environmentally sustainable, equitable and of benefit across communities in just societies.
A Vision of the Public Good
A vision of the public good that accounts for the past while ensuring a just and shared future. That draws inspiration from peoples who, despite a history of systemic difficulties, maintain an unyielding belief that the betterment of their human condition will foster the betterment of those living around them and will enhance the present and futures of the regularly disenfranchised, marginalized and underserved.
